Modeling Competition 2009 Registration Due Date: 31st Aug 2009IME Technology Sdn Bhd proudly launches the 4th Inter-Varsity Design & Modeling Competition of 2009 lately.IME is organizing the student design competition with objective to promote innovation in 3 D Mechanical design using SolidWorks in Institutes of Higher Learning, to discover design & Modeling talents and unleash creativity among Malaysian undergraduate students. The National Inter-Varsity Student Design & Modeling Competition 2009 will feature students using SolidWorks® software to design a variety of products that could improve the environment, with a design scope of “Design for Environmentâ€. The Participants are required to create 3D Model or product that helps to reduce waste, various types of pollutions, heat & Save Energy. The top three winners will win over RM150, 000.00 worth of prizes, including internship at potential sponsor company, HP Prizes and software for the related institutions The contest will give undergraduate students a chance to immerse themselves in real-world design projects that could eventually become a commercial reality. It also gives them a chance to demonstrate their skills for a broad audience and potentially contribute to life-improving products. This contest is open for undergraduates who currently study full-time diploma or degree courses at the institutions of higher learning education recognized by the Malaysian government.
